Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032 is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization created and maintained by 100% volunteer members. Proceeds from the club's fundraising activities are funneled for disbursement to our Scholarship program, Annual Children’s Shopping Spree, Holiday Magic, and year-round hands-on projects.
We accept requests for our members to participate in giveback and volunteer opportunities in and around the Sacramento community. Since our founding in the 1930s, Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032 has raised millions and then put the funds to work here in the Sacramento Valley to help underserved children. Let’s work together to support the children of Sacramento!
Annual Children’s Shopping Spree
This event provides underserved children in our community with school supplies, new clothes, and new shoes that can help them succeed. The confidence and excitement of the children while they select their items is magical. Children also enjoy a hot breakfast, fun activities, and haircuts to make them feel special and create a memorable experience.
Scholarship Program
Our scholarships are awarded to local high school seniors who are active in the Sacramento community. Personal growth, leadership development, and community involvement are key aspects of Active 20-30. These scholarships help recipients achieve their goals to further their education beyond high school. Click here to learn more about our available scholarships.
Hands-on Projects
We look for volunteer opportunities for our membership to help with hands-on projects in the community. Be it building playgrounds for children or collecting sports equipment, having a sports day with children from a shelter/foster program, or crafting to bring some fun to children in the hospital. Holiday Magic
This project is all about happiness and joy! Gifts are delivered by Santa on Christmas to a local child in need through our annual Holiday Magic event. Many of these children would not have anything to open on Christmas if it was not for a little "holiday magic" to bring smiles to their faces. Children always get to craft, enjoy a hot breakfast, and meet with Santa during this event.
