Our Installation is a dedicated to celebrating leadership, service, and the future of our club. This event marks the official installation of our newly elected Board of Directors, recognizing their commitment to guiding Greater Sacramento #1032 in the term ahead. We also take time to express our gratitude to the outgoing Board for their hard work and leadership throughout their term.

Additionally, we present the Ladybug of the Year award, an achievement honor given to an active member who has given of themselves unconditionally through exemplary service to further the goals of Active 20-30 for that year.

Great company, heartfelt recognition, and a shared vision for the future, Installation is an uplifting event where we celebrate the women who lead, inspire, and make a difference in our community.

Our Summer Retreat is an annual event designed to foster bonding, reflection, and planning for the term ahead. Whether you're an Active, Prospective, or Past Active member, this retreat is the perfect opportunity to connect with others, recharge, and set the stage for the upcoming months. We have been holding this beloved tradition since 1982 (see the first photo below), and it is a time for fun, laughter, and shared experiences.

Join us for a weekend of relaxation, activities, and planning. Whether you can attend the whole retreat or just for a day or two, we welcome you to be part of this amazing experience. It's the perfect chance to build lasting connections, share ideas, and get ready to take on the next term!

Our Annual Holiday Dinner & Past Active Appreciation Night brings members together to celebrate the season and lifelong friendships. Held in place of our December General Meeting, this event is about connection. It’s a chance for new and longtime members to come together, share stories, and strengthen the friendships that make Active 20-30 so special.

A highlight of the evening is hearing from our Past Active members as they share memories from their time in the club, reminding us of the lasting impact of our organization. With laughter, gratitude, and holiday spirit, we toast to our fellow members and look forward to another year of making a difference—together.

Our Anniversary Brunch is one of our most beloved traditions, a celebration of the amazing women who have shaped our club’s legacy. This annual gathering is the only event where we come together to recognize the accomplishments of our members—both individually and as a group committed to making a difference in our community.

It’s more than just a brunch. It is a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, leadership, and camaraderie that define our organization. With our Vice President leading the way as Mistress of Ceremonies, we honor Past Presidents, Women of the Year (WOTY), Rookies of the Year (ROTY), and Actives who have contributed to our club’s success. Along with celebrating past honorees, we will announce this year’s Woman of the Year and Rookie of the Year—recognizing their outstanding dedication and impact. We will also honor members with Outstanding Attendance awards and present scholarships to inspiring recipients.

To bring a sense of nostalgia and connection to our club’s roots, the event features a fashion show, a nod to the 1940s when the “Twenty-Thirtyettes” made fashion shows a signature part of their gatherings. This special tradition links our past with our present, reminding us of the strong, vibrant women who laid the foundation of our organization.

The Anniversary Brunch is a chance to reflect on all we have accomplished, strengthen our bonds, and look ahead to the continued growth and success of Greater Sacramento No. 1032.

The Board Float Away began in the summer of 2021, when our club could finally gather again after a year apart. With COVID-19 restrictions lifted and the weight of a challenging term behind us, we wanted a way to celebrate our board and member’s hard work and simply enjoy being together. A river float felt like the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and freedom and it quickly became a tradition.

Each year since, members grab their sunnies, pack up coolers, and head to the river to drift. The Float Away is both a lighthearted sendoff for our outgoing board and a reminder of how much we value time spent together outside of meetings and events.

There are no speeches, no agendas— just sunshine, laughter, and the joy of connection. What started as a simple idea has grown into one of our most carefree and cherished traditions.
