Prospective New Member Class System
Is the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento a right choice for you?
If you are a woman between the ages of 20 and 39, living in the Greater Sacramento area, who would like to help children in our community while forming lasting friendships, then this might be the organization for you! The desire to be active, encouraged by the requirements set forth, will take you into the heart of our club and confirm that the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032 is the right choice for you.
How do you become a member of the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento?
To become a member, you must participate in our Prospective New Member Class System.
What is an Active 20-30 Orientation?
Anyone interested in joining Active 20-30 must first attend an Active 20-30 Orientation prior to beginning our new member program. The orientation gives a brief overview of our organization and will go into detail expectations and membership requirements. In addition, we will allocate time to allow the prospectives to get to know a bit about each other.
After attending an Active 20-30 Orientation, the prospective members are welcome to attend any and all events and meetings. Their attendance will begin counting towards their membership requirements immediately after they attend the orientation.
What if I have a friend who expresses interest in joining Active 20-30, but missed the Active 20-30 Orientation? Can they still get involved and join right away?
In order to honor our class system and be fair to all prospective new members, a person who misses the Active 20-30 Orientation will need to wait until the next scheduled orientation before beginning the new member program. They are, however, welcome to attend either one general and/or board meeting as your guest if they would like to get a feel for our club.
What are the membership requirements for a prospective new member?
Attend Orientation, New member Education and Read-in
Attendance of at least six meetings: three general, one board and two other meetings
Participating in a major event: Monte Carlo or Crab Feed
